Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta 2013

The 42nd annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta hosted over 500 balloons and nearly 100 special shape. The balloons filled the beautiful clear blue New Mexico skies.

This video shows the early morning launch of Dawn Patrol through the mass ascension of these colorful and whimsical balloons. The special shapes include Elvis, Darth Vader, Arabella the Dairy Cow, Wells Fargo Stage Coach, The Bee Family, Angry Bird, Snow White, Humming Bird, Butterfly, Smokey Bear, Octopus and so many more.

The 2013 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is the premier ballooning event in the world and brings many thousands of visitors daily into the city of Albuquerque.
