BFA Publishes Final 2013 National Ranking
The 2013 BFA Hot Air Competition Division National Rankings are now final. As of 31st January 2014 all queries have been received and answered.
Thanks to the very generous support of Curves International and Gary Heavin, the HACD is pleased to announce the continuation of the $5,000 ranking list prize purse. These awards would not be possible without their support.
Congratulations to Chase Donner of Georgia on an excellent year in achieving the top overall ranking among the 175 pilots that obtained an average (5 task minimum). Chase’s average was an impressive 945.6 with 40 tasks flown.
Richard Sabin of Texas also achieved a top 5 ranking and collects the Top Senior award. Bruce Wood of Colorado established a remarkable 12th place ranking in his first year and is the Top Rookie. Sam Parks of North Carolina jumped up a notable 83 positions in the rankings this year to achieve Most Improved. Karen Kent of Louisiana topped the rankings of the 14 women participating this year for the Top Female award. Congratulations to these and the remaining pilots of the Top 21 and good luck in 2014!
