Helen to the Atlantic Race on The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel’s Rick Adams reported from the first day of the 41st Annual Helen to the Atlantic Balloon Race.

Racers were due to launch at 7am on Thursday morning but thunderstorm activity in the area forced a delay until later that day.

Since this report the competing balloons have flown and a winner will be announced at the celebration dinner tonight in Helen, Georgia, USA.
