Michelin Star Meals & Flying High In High Tech Balloon
If flying to the moon with Richard Branson and his Virgin Galactic ventures is not in the budget, there is a low-key trip to Space that can be scheduled instead. For just a few hours and about $38,000, a trip in a hot air balloon can be explored.
Now this isn’t a trip on any old hot air balloon, this is a high tech space balloon called “ëblooní” or Microbloon 2.0 by a Spanish company by the name of Zero2Infinity. Not only can one travel to the moon in this thing but there is also a four-seater pod option that includes a Michelin star meal, 30 second space experience, and a front row seat to a stunning view of the sun, stars, and earth curves from space. The pod is equipped with 15 square meter windows that allow a great view of the outside. This balloon is constructed to soar high into the sky, almost twice as high as the Concorde used to fly. Peep the video after the jump to see this thing in action.
