Surprise balloon glow features local hot air balloon pilots
Eight local hot air balloon pilots were featured in a surprise flash mob balloon glow around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening in Longview.
While the pilots simultaneously fired up their propane burners, visitors had a chance to walk up to the balloons and talk to the pilots themselves. Even Santa made an appearance to the somewhat impromptu event.
The event was held to spread a little Christmas cheer during the holiday season, according to the Great Texas Balloon Race Facebook page.
